The 2nd album from The Deep Six kicks off to a flying start with the track 'Like Emily' which originally started out as a 45' vinyl release, and then continues to steam on through relentlessly (as you would expect from this outfit) drawing again from its members musical influences.

The Beatles, The Byrds, The Hollies, The Small Faces etc are all present, and Mark McGounden appears to have fallen in love with his mellotron again as it makes several appearances throughout, including a 'Ray Davies' style nod back to his childhood in the form of the song 'The Black Country Way'.

He even tips his hat towards the most unlikely of sources such as Freddie & The Dreamers on 'I'll Be Back Someday', to which Derek Quinn (the original lead guitar player of The Dreamers) gave him an approving thumbs up for his efforts.

Another 45' release 'Its Happening' is also included on here too, along with 4 song writing contributions from Paul Hooper- Keeley as well

The usual gang are here, but with the new addition of Niall Keohane on Bass guitar, who well and truly stamps his identity on the album.

A great album once again.
Can't wait for album No3!
